Kane didn't want to follow Neko's instruction but he accepted it as what his captain had already announced back at the tavern. He was sailing off. He was... leaving Tortuga. As he climbed aboard, he stopped at the top of the gang plank and looked out. He saw the fiery glowing lights of the city, and reflected on them as he boarded the ship; prepared to leave the only place he had ever knew.

Neko watched Kane for a moment. He was such a lonely man. She put a hand on his shoulder. "We will be coming back, you know? I'm only sailing with Jack for the year, then I' coming back. You could come back with me."

Kane felt the warmth of Neko's hand. "Why would you only leave for the year? It seems like a strange investment for an immortal. Either way, I don't know if I want to return... but when the time comes, I will make my decision. Thank you." Kane put his hand on Neko's and turned to board the Black Pearl.

Looking around he noticed that some of the crew had watched their little interaction, and glared at them, Let them think what they want, I have no feelings for anyone... especially after what happened two years ago.

Neko saw the reaction from the crew and smirked. Nothing was going to happen between her and Kane, unless he suddenly turned into an immortal half-cat.

Kane watched in slight amusement as the half cat latched to the side of the boat. Neko was sure an amazing woman. He sighed. How would he ever learn to be a pirate? He would have to learn before he ended up dead.

Kane knelt to the water and grinned at his vague reflection as the water lapped up against the mighty ship. He could see Neko and the night sky... and a fish. Faster than the fish could react, he scooped it up in his hand and looked at the orange scales glitter before putting it back in the water. "I am not one to brag, but I don't need a tail."
