Kane watched Neko turn, and had to smile. "I'm Kane. Its nice to see someone who enjoys helping strangers, but I am truly not able to speak about my past. This mark is more than a scar. Its a curse. I really can't disclose anything about my past life." He explained.

Neko hmphed. "Never said I like helping strangers, but if I don't, who will?"

"Your immortal, im cursed never to talk of my past till the end of my days... And Jack Sparrow seems like he has a fun ship but no crew but you and Gibbs now. How about it? Let's sail."

"And what? Make one big happy family?" Neko scoffed. "No can do. May Kashka save you, but I just need to be around two drunks, not three."

Kane scoffed "Who the heck is 'Kashka'?" He asked, totally mispronouncing the name.

Neko blinked. "Kashka." she corrected. "She is both my Goddess and my grandmother."

"Well, that's awkward." Kane mocked, "You worship your.. grandmother?"

Neko pulled out her swords and stood in her favorite battle stance. "Wanna mock me again? Cause I'll kill you a thousand times over."

"Haha, nope." Kane turned on his heal and strut off. "It isn't any concern of mine who you worship or don't. Although, when it comes to pointing swords, that's when I draw the line. Perhaps I won't make a good pirate..."

"Get back here and fight, you bastard." Neko hissed, racing to be in front of him. "You insulted my heritage. In my culture, that means you pay."

"Hahahaha! Fight with what?" Kane bellowed, making people stop and stare. "I could use my fists but... even a woman wouldn't be that unfair, would she?"

Neko chuckled. "I'd give you a sword, but they have a funny habit of always coming back to me." she gestured to the magical crystal swords, before stealing two off some guy walking by with a bunch. "I should warn you though. I heal quickly." she tossed Kane the two swords. "Catch." (just so you know, she is my character from another story)

"The hell am I supposed to do with swords I can't wield?" Kane moaned as he clumsily caught the blades. "I told you, if I knew how to wield something other than my own body, I would carry something."

"What are you? Some kind of idiot?" Neko snapped. "What kind of man doesn't know how to weild a sword?" she sighed and relaxed a minute. "Fine. I'll teach you and then you'll pay. I don't care how long it takes."

Kane sunk into Neko's stance, copying her. "Do you agree that there are times when people miss what the true point in life is?" He asked.
