child of the great wizard howl, and sophie, i share traits with both, the little aprentance they once had has now moved out on his own, leaving me often to study alone. father howl was busy with ether tasks or my mother, but i had his scrolls and room to practice. calsifer, a fire demon, was my sorce of humor and intertainment. they way he whined all the time was the best, but now i wanted to be on my own, even if i was 10, so i ran off as soon as i could. but i did not know where to go. woundering around the market place of the town. it was of the blue door that i had walked threw and now i could not tell where i was, but i knew one thing, i wasn't going back until my curiosty was sainted. running around i looked at all the shops, geting yelled at every once and a while by an adult for snooping. but eventually i got tired and sat on a small wall taking out an apple i had stollen from fathers stash. munching away i looked around, curiously as children do.

I had traveled long for days in search of a town, having run out of food in my small side pouch belt a long time ago, me and my little dragon brother Ru were to the point of dead hunger. Any town would due! Heck even if mobed by angery towns folk again in just trying to get some food and rest would risk life for. Then again magic has always helped me those times too as it has also been a curse..I'm not sure where I come from, my old master told me I was of a rare cross of half dragon born with magic being a wizard, do I believe it? I'm not entirly sure, I trust my master words, or I did. Now I travel many roads to find the truth along with my "brother" Ru. He's not by blood brother, but a brother never thought to have with dragon..A town, finaily to come across, as I entered of the people moving about I first eye the market place not far. Both Ru's and I eyes lit up with joy dashing to the first shopkeeper close, a fruit stand it appeared. I asked for a dozzen apples in a cheer, the shopkeeper gladly taking the sack of money in giving afew extra so kindly but a hint of greed, though I only cared for food at the moment. Gladly taking the sack fill of apples i continued my way in joy as Ru cheered saying "roo! roo!" i nodded agreeing understanding what said as I eyed a place for us to eat the delisious red apples.

spoting a man with a strange pet i munched on my apple watching. you would never see such a thing any where else i think. though dad had many stange things he showed me, but never something that still moved. finishing up the apple i ran across the wall toward the man eagerly, wanting to learn about his pet. but i stoped just as i was aboutto speak to him. i still had the apple in my hand and ofcourse i couldn't seem like a slob just holding it. thinking i discided that throwing it into the water was a bad idea, and just on the ground was out of the question. looking around i turned to hide it the best i could as i put both hands around the apple core. "fire." i muttered and the apple burst into flames, leting it burn away fast i released the sparks then turned toward the stranger.

Ru's cheer soon changed in hault silence, sniffing the air raising head high I quickly took notice in his odd behaveor, but not in suprised of this. "What is it Ru? You sence magic?" "Roo roo!" "Fire?" I glanced the area of where I stoped. Instantly sencing the use of magic too. It was nothing of a sirious feeling of something big but still some suspision. I then turn to my side to eye a young girl in close distance, she seemed curious to something of me as I was to her. "This I magic sence..in this girl?" I thought to myself. I turned fully to her in a smile of friendlyness to see can be trusted.

"hi there! i saw your pet and thought i would come introduce my self, it's not everyday you see a creature like him. im claire by the way." i spoke quickly pumped up at the idea of something new. jumping down from the wall and patting my hands to get the little bit of ashes left off i smiled up at the stranger.

"haha Well it's nice to meet you Claire, this fella here is Ru, my little brother." I pointed to Ru at my shoulder, intsanly with a friendly reply to Claire wagging his little tail "Roo!" Then at myself. "and Im Aeros." Using my signature closed eyes smile to her. To have a child come up to me so calmly and unaffriad brought joy and a touch of warmth inside, feeling it been ages to talk to someone normally for once. Lacking some social expierance, my curiousity of before magic sencing got the better of me to ask. "Saaay, you wouldn't happen to know magic by any chance?"

"nice to meet you" bowing to both she then smiled brightly at the question. "of course loads, my da- opps. haha." rubing the back of my head i looked toward the water, mentioning my dads name would get me thrown out of town fast, he wasnt a bad person, but people didn't know that. "well the point is, i know magic, problem with that?" i tilted my head and pointed to my face in a cute expression.

"No promble at all, just curiousity." I smiled, reaching my hand to scratch under Ru's chin playfully as he wagged tail enjoying. "Ru here is able to sence magic, even from afar, but he sence a use of fire magic being used. Id hope that the town wasnt in flames somwhere at first haha but then when i saw you, I senced a powerfull scurce of magic flow around you. Being my curiousity to ask and getting answer true." Looking back to the young girl my curiostiy more of what she held back to say. "Whoever taught you must be a powerfull wizard, am I corrected?" Smiling to, I mimicked the same expresion of cuteness as play.

"well sorta, i learned more from the fire demon in the fire place then him, always ignoring me." making a pouting face, i felt releaved in a way though, i was on my own now. "but i can learn on my own now ha! in their faces!" laughing a bit i smiled at the man. "so if you can sense magic then you have magic right? thats cool!" claping i watched the two with intrest. "if your traveling around why not travel with me then Mr. aeros!"

My face lit up for a second of joy in hearing she wants to travel with me, Ru too wagging his tail excited and looking back n forth to me and Clarie. Chuckling i looked to Ru "Well, what do you think Ru?" "Roo! Roo! Roo!" He spoke in cheer as I laughed. "Then it's settled." Lowering half my body I bowed genltmen like to her. "I would be of joy to accompany you in your travels Miss Claire." Rising up in signature smile.

"yes!" i yelled out and fist pumped the air, then relized it wasnt very lady like and calmed down befor cutrsing to aeros. "this will be great we can go fight evil and save people using magic and then be praised!" yelling loudly with joy i twirled a bit as i imagened a heroic jerney that surely awaited us.

"haha sounds like an adventure to me!" "Roo!" Paw pumping in air. I too felt of the same excitment with Claire, having it just been me and Ru for a long time it felt nice to have another join us in ventures. Having the sack fill of apples carry I threw it over shoulder as standed knightly like smiling to the young girl. "So, where is our journy to start my lady?"

looking around, i hadn't really thought about where i wanted to go, just that i wanted to go. "uh, i'm not sure, where do you sugest?" looking up at and tilting my head to the side. it some how reminded me that the next chance i got i wanted to try dieing my hair blonde.

"Hmmm.." I thought as I looked about the town, being a new place my curiosity of finding clues and studying the area to memorize was high. Possibly a dangurous quest to find only the brave of heart can venture? That sounded like a start. Then my logical side reminded of Claire, being a spirited and brave girl she is, she was still young. Having my concerns, though it thought back to myself when I started adventuring from the moment i woke to this sudden life not too younger from her. Still just only meeting i had many questions to ask of her as she would probably have for me, I thought back to the matter of hand for now.."Well, I do know of a few places you might be curious to see~" Teasing abit. "How about we start here, finding some rumors around the town could be helpfull. Perhasp someone is in need of help or could tell us of a place to start our journey." I smiled on.

"that sounds perfect" twriling about i come to a stop and bow showing to lead on, eager to get moving. the long i stayed in one place the easer to be found, at the time i didn't really think about it, but knew it some how none the less. it was not as though i blended in with the crowd, but i didn't particurlly stand out to much eather. i was avarage and that annoyed me, i wanted to be beutiful and unigue. i had read one to many stories where the female charcter was a wounderfull blonde haired young lady who was adored for her locks of hair not to want the same. at home i was forbiden to dye my hair, because aparently i wasn't aloud to repeat my father's mistakes. but now that i was going to travel with my new friend i was going to do it. i wanted to learn for my self why there were so many rules.
