after the happy ending

smiling up at the guard i came up again with an awnser. "the wilds." "where the witches and wizards are!" the guards both said, looking suprised. which i thought was strange, they were looking for a magical person after all. "well yeah, daddies a wizard, and if you wanna get away from guards you go to where you think they wount go. so the wilds." i shurgged at their seeming stupidity. though i knew that daddy was actually flying around thease days instead of roming the wilds like he use to, that didn't mean that the guards knew this.

One guard spoke up looking to his partner. "It does makes sense he would flee there.." The other speaking in nod. "Cant run forever and its a lead, we'll need to alert the others of this." To keep story going, I curiously perked up in slight tilt of head. "Has my brother done something?" Keep act going. The guards turned facing towards me, a slight nerviousness was seen in there expresions. Like there were some things they couldnt tell.."Well..being that your brother is a wizard, there is some supisions we would like to question him about of...certain events..that have acured with a likely wizard. Unfortunatly havent had any leads to find anying in question." "But now thanks to this new information we can try to find a suspect to this..we apoligize if any misunderstanding.." I smiled as casual. "None at all, I just hope brother isnt in any trouble of this "events" you say, speaking of mind, may I ask what these events have been?" Once more the guards looked nerviously, with sirious face they spoke. "There's not much we can say at the moment.." "But there's a likely wizard in suspect for knowing to travle town to town to cause...trouble.." "Thats why we supected you of being likely but now to be your brother we would like to find.." The guard looked down to Claire. "Hopefully he isnt our suspect wizard.." I looked down to in blank of thought to all this, looking back up in curiousity with slight sirious face of my own to the guards. "May I ask..whats the punishing crime for the suspect?" One guard stood in proud stance unchanging expression. "Well if nothing too sirious, likely jail for some time, if is..well, it's possible excitcution depending how the court sees.." I frowned inside hearing, hiding behind blank face in casual. "I see." All I could speak.

"exicution?!" i reacted like anychild would if hearing about their parent like that, though inside i knew that none could hold my father in such a way to kill him, and if you did manage to capture the great howl he would just escape. "i'm sure daddies done nothing that bad." looking up to aero's. "right?"

I looked down to Claire, instanly changing my slight frown face to a comforting smile. "Yeah, I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding, these good people just want to make sure he's not there guy." Looking back to guards. "Right?" Stumbling they gazed, one speaking up. "Naturally we would question first, there havent been any sirious reports so to say that would instantly lead to an exicution.." "But it is still a troubling issue that has the high courts making it a man hunt, not to worry, if there is any news of your brother likely we'll be the first to let you both know." As on que, both saluted in standing soldier like. "We again appoligize for the misunderstanding and thank you for the information, we'll be sure to send out word to you if anything comes." I nodded in response, holding Claire's hand slightly tight in hold. "We'd appreciate it." Both nodding steping forth in march out of the shop. I guided Claire not long after they left outside the shop. Ru climbed back onto my head curiously looking down at me while I went into a daze of thought looking up to the afternoon sky. My worries of what could become of our journey increased of the thought of a man hunt for.

"well that was close" claire laughed. "it'll be fine." claire looked up at smiling then saw from the corner of her eye someone who she did not expect to see. her father, looking around at the people, handing out little posters and being rather loud. "have you seen this little cute bundle of beauty." he kept asking people as he handed out the papers. hiding behind aero, claire took a deep breath.

I snapped out of my daze to notice Claire hiding behind me, Ru too, turning head back to see smiling at. "Why you hiding? Something wrong?" Hearing the loud man shout I turned gaze to see him. Listening to his shouts and curious of the papers he was passing. 'missing girl?' I thought. Looking back to Claire curiously, then a thought hit me.

"shhh, dont let him know i'm here!" Clair muttered as she watched slightly of the man. she hadn't expected her father to find where she was so quickly.

I blinked a few times silently, looking back to the man continuing to ask many people, it then hit me finally of thought. 'Is that her father..? The wizard Howl? I knew Claire's father be a wizard but the Howl himself..interesting' Snapping out of my thought daze did I realize that he was heading toword our direction. Almost showing panic in my face looking side to side then suddenly remebering. I turned my head to see Claire as whispered. "Quickly Claire, reach into my side napsack and pull out a cloak you' ll see and put it over you."

looking up she nodded quickly and reached into the bag. pulling it out she flape it over her. then looking up she tried to see if that was what aero ment.

I nodded to her in smile. Probably from the inside of cloak it looked to be a regular fancy design cloak, thin like to see blurerly clear through. Though outside she was completly invisable to the eye. A handy invisablility cloack for travle. "Just keep still and quite inside." As said, turning back I was faced with Howl in front of me.

noddin claire held still, un aware she was invisible. "excuse me sir!" howl yelled out walking over to aero. "have you seen this magnificent little angel?" he held the poster right into aero's face. "please she's run from home, her mother and i are soooo worried." howl had tears in his eyes, his clothing messed up and his face twisted with worry, but still trying to smie.

Looking at the poster was only vision for moment, Ru as close could be practicly on my cheek starttled. Cautiously leaned to side to see of Howl was a sudden suprise of expresion. Never to think a great wizard to show tears, but of a situation of this I felt sorry for him understanding. 'If I ever knew my parents were looking for me, I'd go straight back to them in a heartbeat. But Claire..' glancing to side without movement knowing figurly there. 'if this is what she wants, then I'll remain at her side.' Looking back to Howl I showed a sorry frown like expression. "I'm sorry sir, I have not."

sighing greatfully as howl left, claire lifted up the cloak. "showing that face is cheating! but thanks for holding up agenst it aero!" claire anounced and put the cloak back where she had found it. "he acts like he cares but he's never paying attention to me." nodding claire had convinced her self that she was right and her father was wrong.

"Mm..still.." Speaking inner thoughts aloud, looking out in a daze. 'if it was an act, a pretty convincing one, theres got to be some care..' I thought. Thinking of my possble idea of parents more. Realizing my showing emotion I shook head to show the smile again to Claire. Pating her head kindly "It was no trouble, I'm glad that I remembered my invisability cloak in time other wise would have been in some real trouble."

watching aero, claire felt like he was almost willing to change his mind about leting her dad know she was there. "yeah it would have been bad, might have used magic agenst him to show how much i've grown while he's ignored me." claire huffed then started walking toward the north, planing to go no matter what.
